Peter Salovey will become Yale University’s 23rd president, succeeding Richard C. Levin, who will step down on June 30, 2013. During the transition period, President-elect Salovey is devoting his time to reaching out extensively to the wider Yale community—alumni, deans, faculty, staff, students, and the city of New Haven—for insights and ideas to help guide and shape his priorities for Yale’s future.
